When designing contemporary furniture or fitting out commercial spaces, the use of dark materials places the utmost importance on the management of visible fittings. The black cover for domed Torx screw heads is an essential accessory for concealing protruding fixings on your dark structures. The zinc-plated metal alloy invariably creates an unsightly contrast against matt black melamine panels, powder-coated metal or deeply stained wood finishes.

Unlike countersunk heads, the domed shape creates a physical raised area on the surface. It is therefore crucial to use a cover that harmoniously conceals this protrusion. The incorporation of this small, darkened dome ensures a seamless surface finish, immediately signalling to your clients the care you take with every detail of your work. This level of finish clearly distinguishes a standard installation from a high-end fit-out carried out to the highest standards.

As well as its undeniable decorative appeal, this accessory helps to ensure the longevity of your fittings. By covering the central star of the Torx system, it prevents corrosive liquids from pooling or greasy residue from accumulating in the recess. The black colour, injected directly into the plastic mould during manufacture, guarantees exceptional resistance to UV light and regular friction.

The mechanical interlocking system utilises the depth of the recess to secure the cap firmly in place. This rock-solid hold proves particularly crucial during the logistics transport of factory-pre-assembled furniture, ensuring that the cap will not come loose as a result of any vibration.
